This testimoney is so sad, the more that I hear O'Rielly and Hannity defend dead the more disturbed I get about this...

Was 911 a government conspiracy?

The collapsing of the Twin Towers? WTC number 7? Where is the plane that hit the pentagon? What about flight 93? Why was there molten steel found months after the collapse of the towers when jet fuel will never get that hot?

There are so many questions that our government has not addressed.

Whenever a conspiracy is brought up in the mainstream media it is immediately slandered. We are told to NEVER question government, as a Christian, it bothers me that the church pushes that dogma as well. This great country would have never been founded without great men who risked it all to speak out against the establisment. We need to decern what is going on around us and be wise and make decisions for ourselves.

Look for yourself.

Not too much to say lately

I have been on a mission this summer to get my house in decent shape, this weekend was no exception. I finished some molding in my Kitchen, worked on the sprinkler system, torn out ugly landscaping from the previous owner, and watched the Kids while the wife hung wallpaper in the half bath. My house is a never ending project.

The Secret Message of Brian McLaren

I just finished with this book from Brian McLaren and I have to say it is a very intriguing book. On one hand, I think he has so much good to say about reaching out to our neighbors. I think all to often we as Christians are trying to "make the sale" and prevent our neighbors from going to Hell without getting into their personal lives. Brian endorses a real life evangelism that reaches people in their own problems and issues. I like that side of his message, we need to stop selling and then letting God handle the details. There is another side to this book that, to me, seems so New Age. Brian is clearly an inclusive, he feels that ALL are welcomed, whether, New Age, Hindu, Buddhist or Islam, we are all welcome, and we can opt out and reject God. In fact, it seems that according to Brian, those who hold the orthodox exclusive viewpoint are the ones that need to repent and maybe they will be welcome back in the "Kingdom of God". I am appalled that this person and his message can be listed as an evangelical because his message is very different than what Christians view as orthodox. Of course, according to Brian, the message has been altered throughout history, how is that any different than what New Agers have say? We as Christians, have rejected these guys for years, now that we have a guy that calls himself an Evangelical with the same message then it is acceptable?

Fantasy Football season is open

One of my other worldly passions is Fantasy sports, more specifically Fantasy Football. This will be year six for me, it is a great way for guys that I know connect, and interact.

While I wholeheartedly believe that evolution is false, I keep thinking about the whole idea of Christian God verses other God's concept. I am currently reading Erwin Lutzer's book Christ among other gods hopefully I can gain some helpful in site there. I am not questioning my faith at all, I just want to have an honest, open evaluation to life and the christian faith.
